Kalshi

Kalshi offers a $10 Welcome Bonus (for new users, in the US) in many promotions. It appears no code is required for many offers. T&Cs and eligibility (state restrictions, minimum deposit or trade, etc.) apply.

Kalshi does not operate like a traditional sportsbook. Instead, it is a regulated US prediction market / event contract platform, under the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). 

The “sports” contracts are of “yes/no” type: will Team X win game Y, will a specific event (team, player, statistic) occur, etc. There are also markets in other categories (politics, weather, economics, entertainment).

Kalshi is also expanding their offerings: adding player props, spreads, and parlay-style multi-leg contracts (for sports events, NFL etc.).

There is no standard in-play/live betting (e.g. betting as a match progresses) as found in sportsbooks. Markets close either at a set time (freeze) or when the event outcome is known. Users cannot, for example, bet mid-game with dynamic odds in all circumstances.

Kalshi is working toward “parlay-style” event contracts (multi-leg) but as of recent reports, same game parlays (SGPs) are unlikely in the near term because of the difficulty of pricing correlated events.

The platform is available via web (desktop browser) and via mobile apps (iOS and Android). Apps generally receive positive feedback for clean design, ease of use, and beginner-friendly interface. 

There are features like trading contracts “yes/no” priced between $0.01 and $0.99, visualization of outcomes / probabilities, built-in guides/tutorials.

Cryptocurrency markets are available, meaning users can trade contracts based on cryptocurrency price outcomes.

No clear VIP or loyalty program was found. Kalshi does not seem to provide tiers, bonuses or special perks for high-volume users in the way typical sportsbooks do. If anything, liquidity and size of account might influence what markets one can access, but nothing officially labelled “VIP” is public.

• Kalshi is regulated in the U.S. by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) as a designated contract market. 

• It uses standard account verification, KYC (Know Your Customer) / identity verification in line with regulatory obligations.

• Crypto deposits are managed via a service provider (ZeroHash) to handle transfers.

• For security, user-authentication, platform protections are standard; though users do report issues in rare cases, particularly when it comes to customer service.

Kalshi is not a casino. There are no slots, table games, roulette, etc. It is purely a market-based trading/prediction event platform. 

• Crypto: deposits via ZeroHash; supports multiple assets (BTC, SOL, USDC etc.). Deposit limit via crypto is up to $500,000.

• Debit card: possible for deposits & withdrawals (with fee for debit withdrawals, small fixed fee).

• Bank transfers / ACH / Wire: allowed; bank transfers can take 3-4 business days for visibility/clearance for many users.

• Withdrawal speed:
   • via debit card or crypto: under an hour or up to ~30 minutes in many cases.
   • via bank transfer: 3-4 business days.
